We loved our stay at the cabin! It had a real fireplace and all the vintage furniture made us feel cozy. The kids enjoyed the spacious setup and the close proximity to Freeport shopping made activities easy for our whole family.
In my kids' opinion, a little more privacy in the cabin would have been great, especially with the blinds being broken.

The rustic cabins are cozy and well-kept, with a quaint charm that sets the mood for a relaxing getaway. A kitchenette was a pleasant surprise, allowing us to prepare breakfast before heading out to explore. Unfortunately, the traffic noise from Route 1 could be disruptive to some, and the cabin's cleanliness left room for improvement, as we found some dust and unkept corners. However, we appreciated the homemade soups offered and the overall character of the accommodations.

Charming cabins and friendly vibes!
We spent a night in a cozy cabin, which was super cute! The rustic style was right up our alley. The picnic area was nice for chilling and eating outside. Only bummer was the microwave was broken, so we couldn’t heat up breakfast. Still, it was a great price for a spacious stay!

The rustic charm of our cozy cottage made it the perfect retreat for exploring the beautiful Maine coast. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch in the Adirondack chairs, sipping coffee, and taking in the serene surroundings. A working wood fireplace added to the inviting atmosphere, making our stay feel special. We can't wait to return!

I had a lovely stay at Maine Idyll. The cabin was cozy, and I immediately felt at home. It had a fireplace, making the atmosphere warm and inviting. The kitchenette was well-equipped with everything I needed to cook meals, and I enjoyed breakfast on the porch. The location is fantastic, only five minutes from downtown Freeport. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and made me feel welcome. However, the mini-blinds were broken, and I had concerns about privacy with the front windowed door. The bed dipped a bit and was noisy, which made it hard to sleep soundly. The polyurethane smell from the new flooring was a bit overwhelming too.
